#CanoeFlipChallenge The Canoe Flip challenge. This was initiated by Chris Prouse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3KjrE9MzHE recently and is a fundraiser for Project Canoe (www.canoe.org) to help get under privileged youth out into canoes and the outdoors in general. Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada! Rugged, remote, beautiful. Strong tides and currents, epic west coast surf, strong winds and HIGHLY unpredictable. Cape Scott...the Brooks Peninsula... Seymour Narrows... Twice I have done the sea kayak circumnavigation of British Columbia's Vancouver Island. Roughly 1150 km in length, both past trips resulted in speed records for the fastest sea kayak trip around the island (since been beaten. 2021... I'm going back! Here are a couple new paddles I am building to get ready. If you like this channel, you can help make it grow anytime you are shopping on Amazon. Short video on some general guidelines we use when sizing people for a new custom Greenland Paddle. Remember, these are just guidelines. We often adjust the numbers a bit after talking/ emailing back and forth with people in order to fine tune the specs for the individual customer. Over the years, we have now built well over 1500 Greenland Paddles and have shipped all over the world.

So for now, here is the one I just finished along with photos of several others after I show and talk about this latest one to come out of our home based woodshop. If you want me to make a video showing the actual process of making it, post your comments down below and I can do another one for a new video.

Several new videos in the next few days coming up so click the Subscribe button to stay up to date with the new videos and upcoming contests and gear giveaways. Thanks for watching. If you like our dogs at the very end, say hi to them in the comments. Plaid and Sandpaper....they are the ones REALLY in charge around here. All paddles were built in our woodshop here in Thunder Bay.
